In the city of Odessa, on February 12, at 2:00 p.m., on the central avenue of Taras Shevchenko Park, the ceremonial opening of the Yurt of Invincibility took place. This is the fifth yurt installed as part of the joint Kazakh-Ukrainian project of the same name.
Yurt in Odessa serves as a heating point and recharging phones, here you can also taste traditional Kazakh dishes and warm yourself with warm tea. Yurts, in addition to their direct function, also acted as a symbol of support and centuries-old Ukrainian-Kazakh friendship.
“Yurt of Invincibility” is a project initiated by the chairman of the Ukraine-Kazakhstan interparliamentary friendship group, People’s Deputy of Ukraine Serhii Nahorniak, Kazakh businessman Daulet Nurzhanov, and representatives of the Kazakh diaspora in Ukraine.
As part of the project, five yurts have already been opened in the cities of Ukraine, in particular, in Bucha, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lviv, and now in the city of Odesa.
The yurt is installed in the park named after Taras Shevchenko st. Marazlievskaya, Odessa, Odessa region, Ukraine
In the city of Odessa, the yurt will stand until March inclusive.
The idea and implementation of the project belong to the head of the interparliamentary friendship group “Ukraine-Kazakhstan”, People’s Deputy of Ukraine Serhii Nahorniak
The project is implemented directly by the author of the project, People’s Deputy of Ukraine Nahorniak Serhiy, with the support of Kazakh businessman Daulet Nurzhanov, the “Kazakh Diaspora of Ukraine” and local self-government bodies of the cities where the yurt is installed.
