On Saturday, January 31, a new Invincibility Point in Holosiivskyi Park will begin operating in Kyiv on the territory of the M. Rylskyi Holosiivskyi Park of Culture and Recreation. The “Yurta of Invincibility” is a support space where residents can warm up, charge their devices, access the internet, enjoy traditional Kazakh cuisine, and learn more about the culture of Kazakhstan.

The new Invincibility Point in Holosiivskyi Park will serve as a place of warmth, assistance, and community solidarity.

International Support and Ukrainian–Kazakh Cooperation

The “Yurta of Invincibility” is a Ukrainian–Kazakh initiative co-founded by Member of Parliament of Ukraine and Head of the Interparliamentary Relations Group with the Republic of Kazakhstan, Serhii Nahorniak, and Kazakh entrepreneur Daulet Nurzhanov. The project is implemented with the active participation of volunteers from the Kazakh diaspora in Ukraine.

The yurta in Holosiivskyi Park was installed with the support of Darkhan Kaletayev, philanthropist and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Ukraine (2020–2025). More information about the initiative is available on the official website of the Yurta of Invincibility project.

Expansion of the “Yurtas of Invincibility” Network Across Ukraine

The first “Yurtas of Invincibility” were deployed in January 2023 in Bucha, Kyiv, Lviv, Odesa, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Mykolaiv, Sloviansk, Zvenyhorodka, and Novovolynsk to support people during large-scale power outages.

Statement by Serhii Nahorniak

“The first Yurtas of Invincibility appeared at a critical time for Ukraine, when people were suffering from cold and the absence of electricity. At that moment, the Kazakh people extended a helping hand. Kazakh philanthropists provided the yurts and all necessary equipment. The yurts began welcoming visitors thanks to volunteers from the Kazakh diaspora who dedicate their free time to supporting the project,” said Serhii Nahorniak.

“In Kyiv, two yurts are operating — one in Shevchenko Park and now the second in Holosiivskyi Park. This became possible thanks to the philanthropic support of Darkhan Kaletayev. We are sincerely grateful for this assistance. It is a true manifestation of friendship and solidarity,” he added.

The “Yurta of Invincibility” in Holosiivskyi Park will operate daily, without days off, from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
