In Mykolaiv, as part of the Ukrainian-Kazakh project, a yurt of indomitability was installed. Since a new benefactor, Aidos Mukataev, joined the project, it was possible to purchase and install the seventh indomitable yurt in Ukraine. We will remind that similar yurts are also located in the cities of Bucha, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lviv, Odesa and Dnipro.
Aidos Mukataev personally visited Mykolaiv to express his respect to the local residents.
“For a Kazakh, a yurt is a home, and the word “invincibility” conveys how courageously the people of Ukraine overcome all challenges. We sincerely support you. May the sky above your country become peaceful!”
– philanthropist Aidos Mukataev addressed the townspeople
The yurt was installed on Flotskyi Boulevard and began its work on March 15. According to the plan of the organizers, the yurt will act not only as a typical point of invincibility and heating with the possibility to charge gadgets, but also as a center of Kazakh culture in Ukraine.
The electricity supply of the yurt is provided by an electric generator, and a Starlink station is also installed for visitors’ free access to the Internet.
Volunteers and representatives of the Kazakh community take care of the guests, treat them with traditional food and hot tea. Yurt is a very interesting cultural space, where you can get acquainted with the rich culture of Kazakhstan, attend various master classes, trainings and other cultural events.
Mykolaiv itself is such a “yurt of indomitability,” says the head of the OVA Vitaly Kim:
“There will be a cultural center here, which will give the people of Mykolaiv a sense of normal life, at least as far as it is possible in the current conditions. I believe that our cooperation will yield good results, because in addition to this kind gesture, we have plans for cooperation between the two countries to rebuild our region and restore business.”
– Vitaly Kim
The project was implemented at the initiative of the head of the parliamentary group on interparliamentary relations with the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, People’s Deputy Serhii Nahorniak and Kazakh businessman and philanthropist Daulet Nurzhanov. Other entrepreneurs and patrons of Kazakhstan joined the initiative.
