As part of the Ukrainian-Kazakh project, the seventh Kazakh yurt of indomitability will be opened in Ukraine. Thanks to the involvement of the Kazakh businessman and philanthropist Aidos Mukatayev in the project, it was possible to install a heating point in the form of a Kazakh yurt in the city of Mykolaiv.
During the implementation of the project, the yurt expanded the range of its possibilities and, in particular, the point of indomitability became a center of Kazakh culture in Ukraine and a symbol of friendship between the two peoples of Ukraine and Kazakhstan.
“For a Kazakh, a yurt is a home, and the word “invincibility” conveys how courageously the people of Ukraine overcome all challenges. We sincerely support you. May the sky above your country become peaceful!”
– philanthropist Aidos Mukataev addressed the townspeople
The official opening of the yurt in Mykolaiv was attended by the author of the project, People’s Deputy of Ukraine Serhii Nahorniak, the head of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration, Vitaly Kim.
Many places came to the opening of the yurt, guests were treated to Kazakh pilaf and traditional Kazakh dishes.
The yurt is powered by an electric generator. Here you can also use free access to the Internet thanks to the Starlink station.
The yurt was installed on Flotskyi Boulevard and began its work on March 15. According to the plan of the organizers, the yurt will act not only as a typical point of invincibility and heating with the possibility to charge gadgets, but also as a center of Kazakh culture in Ukraine.
A yurt is a Kazakh portable frame dwelling with a felt covering, an ancient traditional dwelling of Turkic nomads, which is used in Ukraine as a heating point during blackouts from missile attacks. Over time, the yurt became a center of Kazakh culture in Ukraine and a symbol of Ukrainian-Kazakh friendship.
