As part of the implementation of the “Yurt of Invincibility” project, the installation of heating points in the form of Kazakh yurts continues. The next yurt is installed in Ukraine, now in the city of Lviv. This is the fourth yurt that has been installed together with Kazakh friends. The yurt will serve as a heating point for all those in need.
During the opening, the mayor of Lviv Andriy Sadovy, the head of Lviv OVA Maksym Kozytskyi, the author of the project, People’s Deputy Serhii Nahornyak, and the honorary consul of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Western Ukraine, Galina Maslyuk, made a speech during the opening.
The Lviv Yurt of Invincibility will function until weather conditions force citizens to be warmed during the blackout. In the yurt, you can warm up, charge your phone, have a hot drink, and taste traditional Kazakh pilaf and baursaki.
Various master classes for children will also be held in the yurt.
A yurt is a Kazakh portable frame dwelling with a felt covering, an ancient traditional dwelling of Turkic nomads, which is used in Ukraine as a heating point during blackouts from missile attacks.
Yurt of Invincibility is located at the address of the city of Lviv, str. Pidvalna 4, near the Powder Tower.
A total of six such yurts are planned to be installed. The cities where the yurts will be installed are Bucha, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lviv, Odesa, as well as in the Cherkasy region, the city is still to be determined.
The idea and implementation of the project belong to the head of the interparliamentary friendship group “Ukraine-Kazakhstan”, People’s Deputy of Ukraine Serhii Nahorniak.
The project is implemented directly by the author of the project, People’s Deputy of Ukraine Nagorniak Serhii, with the support of Kazakh businessman Daulet Nurzhanov, the “Kazakh Diaspora of Ukraine” and local self-government bodies of the cities where the yurt is installed.
